White paper right in front of me.
White and empty.
Words don’t come so easily when life is kind on you.
So I guess, I could sing, about the way that human kind is coming to its end.
But all this has been done before

Different voices coming from too far away
And words that I don’t understand
Do they really mean a thing or am I missing something here?
And does it even matter?
Will they just slowly fade away?
Like all the things I heard, I saw and I forgot.
In the end, there’s only a few things that I will remember
How could I turn into something I will never be?
Nothing is forever and I feel that I am running to stand still

And how could I ever forget?
Chasing shadows and illusions, dreams and some regrets

The moon is hollow
The spaceship landed and everyone was happy
The captain of the astronauts then opened up the door
He looked kinda pale, shook his head,
and then he stumbled down the stairs
Got unconscious and fell right on the floor
The people on the tarmac all rushed to help him up
They got him on his feet
He was ok, but still he looked quite shocked
Then they brought him before the running camera
He grabbed the mic and said to the crowd that
The moon is hollow and inside there’s an alien drinking tea and watching us sleep
He’s growing rocks in a pale blue cave and listens to the sound of the stars
The crowd went quiet and just stared at the captain.
He stared right back and then he went on with his tale.
“The close encounter with the alien was not a big success
And further missions probably would fail.
We landed on the moon, but it was hollow, so of course
It went off like a bell, and it kept ringing, making lots of noise
So the alien got an headache and got angry
And this is why we had to leave in a hurry.
I think we ‘d better stay on Earth
We have so much to do here, so much to care for
There’s no need to find another home
There’s no place we should go to
We can embrace the night and look at the stars
