It was a sunny day and I remember it was warm
I was sitting in the shadow in the park on a bench
A man walked up to me and looked me straight in the eye
and then he said that he would live a thousand years
I said it was ok for me ,
I didn’t really care and so I wished him all the best
He looked again and then he smiled for a while
And suddenly he took of all his clothes
Then he walked off and he went swimming in the pool, quacking with the ducks,
And he was happy, happy, happy as a fool can be.
It was a rainy day and I was walking down the street
I was thinking about nothing and I liked it a lot
A girl came ‘round the corner, looked me straight in the eye
and then she said that she could run a thousand miles
I said it was ok for me ,
I didn’t really care and so I wished her all the best
She looked again and then she smiled for a while
And suddenly she took of both her shoes
she threw them away and started running on her hands, singing holy songs
And she was happy, happy, happy as a fool can be.
It was a cloudy day and it was getting kinda late
I was sitting in the couch and I was reading a book
When suddenly I heard a little voice in my head
That said that I should play a thousand songs
I said it was impossible, that it was way to much
And so I told it to shut up
But it insited, and it got on my nerves
And so I took a gun and killed that voice
'Cause I will only play the music that I like
That’s the way it is
And so I'm happy, happy, happy...
