The Tree deep in The Forest
Walking on the green grass to the forest far away
Looking for the tree that stands alone and is a thousand years
Taking careful steps along the way
I look around
And silently the night destroys the day
I feel that if I stop now I will
stay forever in this woods
and I will never get back home
How will I ever be a little more than just a tree deep in the forest
Waiting on the green moss for another day to come
Living without fear and without pain
Just waiting for the sun
Happy that I found another way
Without a care
Quietly enjoying every day
I know that I will always want to stay
forever in these woods
and I will never leave again
Why would I ever be a little more than just a tree deep in the forest
